My name is Chanelle Retief. I am a registered dietitian with a special interest in weight loss and sport nutrition. I have my masters degree in dietetics and sport nutrition was one of my subjects on masters level.

I am a runner myself. I have successfully completed 5 consecutive Comrades Ultra Marathons as well as 3 consecutive Rhodes Ultra trail mountain runs. I do enjoy the occasional CrossFit class, when I have time in between my running sessions. I also recently started with pole fitness, which I really enjoy.

Runners like to JUST run, but I know from experience as well as studies that runners do need more strength training than we actually think, and that is my reason for doing Crossfit – to improve my running. And build muscle… ultimately, running makes you skinny, Crossfit makes you look good naked.
Most CrossFit athletes reached their potential and will not grow as an athlete anymore, unless we make the necessary changes in their diets.

With over 10 years experience in the field, we can assure you are in good hands!

Upon consultation, we will ensure to provide you the correct massage according to your desired outcome should it be for treating muscle stiffness, improve mobility or rehab due to an injury.

A swedish massage warms up the muscle tissue which increase circulation and promotes relaxation by releasing muscle tension. The pressure can vary from light to firm.

Sports Massage

A sports massage includes vigorous and deep muscle stimulation focusing on specific areas realigning muscle fibres to achieve a specific goal. This massage will promote flexibility and prevent/treat injuries.
